Adella Coleman, age 86, of Paintsville, KY passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024 at her home.

Adella was born July 08, 1938 at Jackson County, WV. She was the daughter of the late Paul David Somerville and Ethel Ernestine Snyder Somerville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Gene Coleman; one brother, Scottie Somerville.

She is survived by one son, Gary G. Coleman and wife Connie of Paintsville, Ky; one daughter, Valerie Cowley and husband Todd of Pinch, WV; one sister, Lola Jean Wells and husband Larry Jo Wells of Paintsville; five grandchildren, Ron (Ashley) Coleman, Kelly (Justin) Blanton, Amanda (Cris) Somerville, Alison (David) Montemayor, Julia (Kevin) Merrick and 10 great grandchildren, Emma Shea Coleman, Grant Allen Coleman, Kayden Riley Blanton, Wyatt Reed "Dub" Blanton, Colt Somerville, Rylie Somerville, Kenzie Somerville, Sofia Montemayor, Andrea Montemayor and Elisa Montemayor.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2024 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Upper Mayo Cemetery, Paintsville, KY.     Friends may call at Jones-Preston Funeral Home Monday, September 30, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
