Alice Preston, age 38 of Boons Camp, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at her residence. She was born on September 26, 1987, in Johnson County, KY, to the late Darrell and Charollette Sizemore Preston. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandparents, Millard and Mary Preston, and Bob and Dorthey Sizemore

She is survived by one sister, Mary (Lonnie) Coots of Boons Camp; three brothers, David (Lynda) Preston of Boons Camp, Dewey (Rebecca) Preston of River, and Mark Preston of Boons Camp; four nephews, Carson Blevins, Bentley Spence, Alden Tackett, Aiden Tackett One Niece Harley Preston and a very special friend Richard Cantrell JR. Also, Alice leaves behind her faithful and loving dog, Oreo.

Alice was an amazing Sister, Aunt, and Friend. She loved being outdoors and playing cards with her nephews. She loved her family and was the glue that held them together. She loved listening to music and had the kindest and most gentle spirit, and a giggle that would brighten up any room. She loved butterflies, so when you see one, we hope that you will think of her.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Monday, April 20, 2026, at the Hurricane United Baptist Church with Jim McKenzie officiating. Burial will follow at the Ballard Butcher Cemetery in Boons Camp. Friends may visit at the Hurricane United Baptist Church from 6 P.M. Saturday, April 18, 2026, until the time of funeral services at 2 P.M. on Monday.
