Alice Mae Stapleton, age 65, of Louisa, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026, at U.K. King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY.

Alice was born on April 29, 1961, in Louisa, KY, to the late Clarence and Nora (Terry) Stapleton. In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her brothers, Terry Stapleton and Johnny Ray Stapleton, one sister, Mary Howell, one brother-in-law, Richard "Rick" Meade, and two sisters-in-laws, Teresa Stapleton and Ann Stapleton.

Alice is survived by four sisters, Bonnie Meade of Louisa, KY, Nora (Frank) Truitt of Louisa, KY, Brenda (Victor Seidlertz) Stapleton of Franklin, OH, and Julie (Ron) Gilmer of Franklin, OH, two brothers, William Samuel Stapleton of Louisa, KY, and Clarence Stapleton of Louisa, KY, one brother-in-law, Frankie Howell, Alice had many special nieces and nephews. She had fifteen nieces and nephews, thirty-six great nieces and nephews, and eighteen great great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 A.M. Friday, July 31, 2026, at the Richardson Chapel Primitive Baptist Church with Brad Dutton and Tommy Meade officiating. Interment will follow at the Stapleton Family Cemetery in Louisa. Friends may visit at the church on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M.; on Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 12 Noon until 9 P.M.; and on Friday from 10 A.M. until the time of the funeral services at 11 A.M.
