Alta Mae Setser Crawford, age 65, of Flat Gap, Kentucky, passed away Monday, June19, 2023 at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, Kentucky.

Alta Mae was born June 7, 1958 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Jake Setser and Willa Dean Spears Setser.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth R. Crawford; three daughters, Amanda Greer and Rebecca Crawford both of Hager Hill, Kentucky and Christy (Mitchell) Hackney of Paintsville, Kentucky; three brothers, Jackie Setser and Martin Setser both of East Point, Kentucky and John Setser of Flat Gap, Kentucky; four sisters, Joy Stephens of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Lucy J. Potter of East Point, Kentucky, Opal Faye Blanton of Paintsville, Kentucky, and Elizabeth Martin of Martin, Kentucky; and four grandchildren, Byrce Hancock, Kaylee Hackney, Layla Greer, and Kallum Crawford.

Funeral services will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2023 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Brian DeWire officiating. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2023 and 9:00 a.m. until time of service, Friday, June 23, 2023 at 4:00 p.m.
