Alvin Barkley Turner, 75, of Van Lear Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Monday September 1st 2025 with his beloved wife Sharon by his side.

Bart as his family and friends called him was born on April 19th 1950 to Oscar and Laura Turner in Left Beaver Kentucky. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brothers Richard Turner, Eddie Turner and sisters Margie Moore and Laureen Burroughs.

Bart was a Christian who loved the Lord our God. Bart was a machine repair operator and in his spare time enjoyed watching car shows, and eating a cheesesteak from Gabriel's in Michigan. Bart was also a collector of many things. Spending time with his wife and children, grandchildren and great grandchildren is what Bart enjoyed most.

Those left behind to honor his memory include his wife Sharon (Delong) Turner. Daughters: Miranda(Garry), Casie(Bill), Amanda(Jamie(d)),Sandra(Tara) and stepson Brandon (Jennifer)Boggs, Siblings Raymond(Barbara(d)),Gracine(Harry), James(Jane),Paul(Carolyn), Joe(Judy),Ray(Donna). Grandchildren Sarah(James),Trevor, Karley, Mikel, Jessica, Ridge, Cole, Rylee,Gavin, and Trinity.
Step grandchildren Jackson and Zoey. Great Grandchildren Malia and Elijah.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial will be planned at a later date.
