Anna Ruth Honeycutt age 88, formerly of Johnson County, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 20223 in Lexington, KY.

Anna was born June 26, 1934 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of late Ervin Johnson and Lottie Adams Johnson.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Honeycutt; one daughter, Myra Lynn Wood; one brother, William (Bill) Roger Johnson.

She is survived by one son, Joey Darren Honeycutt of Nicholasville, KY; one brother, Francis Ervin "Toby" Johnson of Hager Hill, KY; one sister, Vonda Rose Carr of Port St. Luice, FL; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one step-grandchild and one step great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2023 at Southside Free Will Baptist Church with Wayne Price officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson County Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, KY. Friends may visit Jones-Preston Funeral Home on Sunday, June 18, 2023 from 12:00 Noon until 8:00 p.m. and Monday, June 19, 2023 from 1:00 p.m until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Southside Free Will Baptist Church.
