Burial: Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky

Anna Ruth Hughes Tramel, age 82, of West Van Lear, KY passed away Monday, May 3, 2022 at her home.

Anna was born March 17, 1940 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Clifford Donald Hughes and Shirley Jewel Slone Hughes. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, George D. Hughes and Bobby F. Hughes.

She is survived by her husband, James Edward Tramel, of West Van Lear, Kentucky; one son, Michael Alan Tramel of Fyffe, Alabama; one daughter, Sheryll Ann Tramel of  West Van Lear, Kentucky; one brother, Edwin E. Hughes and wife Doris of West Van Lear, Kentucky; one grandson, Michael Ryan Tramel and wife Krista; two great-grandchildren, Michael Baker Tramel and Hallie James Tramel.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2022 at The Way Christian Fellowship Church with Pastor Charles Neeley and Ryan Tramel officiating.  Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky.  Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2022 and 12:00 Noon until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2022 at The Way Christian Fellowship Church.
