Arthur "Arty" Castle, age 50, of Paintsville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025 at his home.

Arty was born January 3, 1975 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of Arthur & Julia Faye Burks Castle. He is preceded in death by one daughter, Julia Marie Castle.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Elijah Castle; one daughter, Piper Moore; one sister, Alice Ward; and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2025 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with James Kelly Caudill officiating. Burial will follow in the Castle Family Cemetery, Nippa, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Monday, April 14, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m.
