Avanell Skaggs, age 86, widow of Jim Skaggs, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024, at her home.

Avanell is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Skaggs, parents, Rev. C.H. Wallin and Bessie Fyffe Wallin, five brothers, Edgar, Glen, Fred, Conrad, and Howard, and four sisters, Maxie, America, Marie, and Ilene.

Avanell is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

At Avanells request there will be only a Graveside service to be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Skaggs Town Cemetery with Tobe Wheeler officiating.
