Barbara Belcher, age 84, of Hager Hill, Kentucky, passed away Friday, May 29, 2020 at her home.

She was born May 30, 1937 in McDowell, Kentucky, daughter of the late William Bee Howell and Marigold Osborne Howell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by one daughter, Debra VanHoose of Thealka, Kentucky; one grandson, Dustin VanHoose, one great grandson, Brayden VanHoose and one brother, Troy Howell of Elgin, South Carolina.

Barbara was retired from Lowe's in Paintsville.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2020 in the Jones-Funeral Chapel with David Keith Castle officiating.  Entombment will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Monday, June 1, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, June 2, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
