Barbara "Peanut" Music, age 72, of Blue River, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025 at her home.

Barbara was born April 5, 1953 in Floyd County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Leonard Music and Viola Ratliff Music. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Music and Timothy Layne Music.

She is survived by one son, William "Bill" (Emily) Robinson of Richmond, Kentucky; one daughter, Monica (Mark) Mosley of Winchester, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Logan (Amanda) Kennedy of Louisville, Kentucky, Savannah Kennedy, Myles Robinson, and Nova Robinson all of Richmond, Kentucky; one great grandchild, Xavier Kennedy of Louisville, Kentucky; three brothers, Leo (Tootie) Music of Paintsville, Kentucky, Jimmy (Kathy Jo) Music of Lowmansville, Kentucky, and Donald (Tina) Music of Richmond, Kentucky; one sister, Betty Royse of Paintsville, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 8, 2025 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Bubby Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, September 7, 2025 and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 8, 2025.
