Beatrice Barker, age 87, of Nippa, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, Kentucky.

Beatrice was born August 16, 1933 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Crossford Crace and Dorothy Spradlin Crace. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Emery Otis Barker, one son, Charles Emery Barker, one daughter, Judy Frame, two brothers, Lewis Crace and Leroy Crace and one sister, Lynn Allen.

She is survived by four sons, Timothy (Sandy) Barker of Somerset, Kentucky, Keith (Deloris) Barker of Wittensville, Kentucky, David (Tabitha) Barker of Prestonsburg, Kentucky and Tracy Lee Barker of Nippa, Kentucky; three daughters, Jeanette (Walter) Music of Nippa, Kentucky, Melissa Barker of Harlen, Kentucky and Julia Barker of Nippa, Kentucky; and two sisters, Mary Carroll of Lebanon, Ohio and Diane Cannon of Ironton, Ohio; and a host of grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2021 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Bubby Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2021 and 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
