Benjamin Tyler Hicks, age 35, of Auxier, passed away peacefully on Friday evening, October 3, 2025, at Pikeville Medical Center.

He was born May 19, 1990, in Prestonsburg, KY, to Johnathan Hicks and the late Judy Ann Harris Hicks.

In addition to his father, he is survived by two brothers: Johnathan Robert (Joanne) Hicks of Mansfield, OH, Zachary Ryan Hicks of Auxier, KY; two sisters: Mattea (David) Hess of Liberty, GA; Kimberly Dawn (David) Shepherd of Prestonsburg, KY; along with a host of special nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Tuesday, October 7, 2025, in the chapel of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home with Paul Wayne Browning and Dr. Jody Brown officiating. Burial to follow at the Fraley Family Cemetery in Prestonsburg. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 12:00 P.M. until the time of services at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
