Benny Ray King, age 64, of Staffordsville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, February 13, 2023 at his home.

Benny was born June 28, 1958 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Clarence Edmand and Emma Jean Lemaster King.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry "Gator" King and James Earl King.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Kay Fairchild King of Staffordsville, KY,  one daughter, Tina Renee Arms of Paintsville, KY; two brothers, Larry Joe King of Boonscamp, KY, and David Paul King of Flat Gap, KY; three sisters, Linda Sue Spears of Leander, KY, Betty Carol Castle of Thealka, KY, and Rita Ann Music of Meally, KY; and five grandchildren, Bradley Ray Arms, Isaiah Patrick Arms, Jerimiah Caden Arms, Elijah Jordan Arms, and Savannah Kay Arms.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2023 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Larry Blair officiating. Burial will follow in the King Cemetery,  Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Tuesday, February 14, 2023 from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
