Burial: Sparks Cemetery, Sparks Branch, Flat Gap, Kentucky

Benny Allen Sparks, age 70, passed away Sunday , November 27, 2022 at King's Daughter Medical Center, Ashland, Kentucky.

Benny was born September 13, 1952 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Hollie Sparks and Edith Lemaster Sparks. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Juanita Davis and brother, Ernest "Ernie" Sparks.

He is survived by two sons, Daniel Powers of Louisa, Kentucky and Isaac (Shirley) Powers of Chillicothe, Ohio; one daughter, Tasina Sparks of Louisa, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Justice (Kayla) Schall, Skyler Boerger and Gage Meek; and two great grandchildren, Lincoln Boerger and Ella Schall.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2022 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Jim McKenzie officiating.  Burial will follow at Sparks Cemetery, Sparks Branch, Flat Gap, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2022.
