Betty Carol Lewis Ginter, age 77, of Chestnut, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Paintsville ARH.

Betty was born January 24, 1945 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the Mitchell Lewis and Mabel Lemaster Lewis. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Bush Ginter: one brother, James David Lewis; two sisters, Judith Ann Blevins Blair and Peggy (Joy) Lewis Audas.

She is survived by one son, Darren Russell Ginter of Chestnut, Kentucky; three brothers, Hillary Lewis and wife Pat of Chestnut, Kentucky, Joe Lewis and wife Judy of Sunbury, Ohio and Jeffery Lloyd Lewis and wife Nancy of Chestnut, Kentucky; and one granddaughter, Chloe Morena Ginter and  host Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2022 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Aaron Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2022 and 11:00 a.m. until time of service Wednesday, March 9, 2022.
