Celebration of Life: 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2022 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel

Betty Sue Salyer, age 78, of  Paintsville, Kentucky,  passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Paul B. Paul Medical Center.

Betty was born February 3, 1944 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the Elijah Arms and Martha Collins Arms. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by five brothers, Bill Arms, Elva Arms, James G. Arms, Charles Arms and Luke Arms; four sisters, May Paige, Minnie Arms, Gladys Baker and infant sister.

She is survived by her two son, Melvin Salyer of Van Lear, KY and William Salyer of  Groveport, OH ; one daughter, Karen Sue Salyer, of Paintsville, Kentucky; one sister, Josephine Arms of Tutor Key, Kentucky; and five grandchildren, Erin Sullivan, Brian Salyer, Jennifer Salyer, Cody Cantrell and Hailey Salyer; four great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Salyer, Elizabeth Cantrell, Reyna Cantrell and Addison Salyer.

A Celebration of life will be honor her life on  Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m. in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel.
