Bonnie Jean Adams, age 92, of Sitka, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at her home.

Bonnie was born December 2, 1927 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Clarence and Nora Sammons Baldridge. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Cline Adams, two sons, Ronnie Gene Adams and James Brian Adams, one brother, Robert Carl Baldridge, one sister, Betty Janice Berry and one daughter-in-law, Paula Adams.

She is survived by three sons, David Adams of Sitka, Kentucky and Robert "Bobby" Adams and Phillip (Rissa) Adams of Fredericksburg, Virginia; three daughters, Sherry (Richard) Peth of Genoa, Ohio, Janice (Hershell) Blevins of Staffordsville, Kentucky and Ann Powers of Paintsville, Kentucky; fifteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Sherry Adams.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Sunday, June 7, 2020 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Bob Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2020, 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2020 and 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, June 7, 2020.
