Bonnie Jean Gibbs Tackett, age 95, of Paintsville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Mt. Manor of Paintsville.

Bonnie was born June 24, 1931 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Ruel C. Gibbs and Alma Castle Gibbs. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Martin Tackett.

She is survived by one daughter, Beverly (David) Tackett Blair of Paintsville, Kentucky; and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at First Baptist Church with Seth Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit First Baptist Church, Wednesday, July 29, 2026 from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM.
