Brenda Sue Allen, age 75 of Paintsville, Kentucky, passed away on December 22, 2023 at the Jordan Center in Louisa, Kentucky.

Brenda was born January 5, 1948, in Johnson County, Kentucky daughter, of the late James Vonnie Reed, Sr. and Estelle Tackett Reed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald David Allen and also one daughter, Susan Allen Sizemore.

She is survived by one step daughter, Rhonda Allen Hall of Whittaker, MI; two brothers, Raymond Richard (Angie) Reed of Maysville, KY and James Vonnie (Tena) Reed, Jr. of Scottsville, KY; two sisters, Norma Jean Bingham of River, KY and Stella Jean (Jaggu) Nanduri of Liberty Township, Ohio; six step grandchildren and host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 29, 2023, in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Denvil Mollette officiating. Burial will follow at Highlands Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 28, 2023, and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 29, 2023.
