Bud Salisbury, age 75, of Oil Springs, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Norton Hospice Care, Louisville, Kentucky.

Bud was born October 11, 1947 in Floyd County, Kentucky, son of the late Cola Salisbury and Audrey Skeans Salisbury. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Nathan Salisbury.

He is survived by his loving wife, Louise Castle Salisbury, Oil Springs, Kentucky; one son, Jody (Summer) Salisbury of Oil Springs, Kentucky; one, daughter-in-law, Nikki Salisbury of Oil Springs, Kentucky; one sister, Olivia Langston, Hillsboro, Ohio; three grandchildren, Nash Keegan Salisbury, Nate Maddox Salisbury and Carter Landon Salisbury.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2023 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with McCoy Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2023 and 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2023.
