Carlos Eugene Castle, age 83, of Nippa, Kentucky, passed away Monday, August 24, 2026, at his residence.

Carlos was born August 12, 1943, in Johnson County, Kentucky, to the late Cora Ellen Castle. He retired as a coal miner and was a member of Staffordsville Free Will Baptist Church.

He was united in marriage to Delilah Vestine "Teenie" Conley Castle on October 9, 1975. They shared many years of love and memories together.

In addition to his wife, Carlos is survived by one son, Stephen Craig (Lori) Chambless of Grayson, Kentucky; one daughter, Donna (T.J.) Klare of Independence, Kentucky; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by two sisters, Willa Mae (Arnold) Bowen of Nippa, Kentucky, and Janet Blair of Salyersville, Kentucky.

Carlos leaves behind a host of loving friends, neighbors, and brothers and sisters in Christ who will mourn his passing.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home with Jim Price officiating. Burial will follow at Conley Cemetery at Staffordsville.

Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2026, and from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 27, 2026.
