Carolyn Lee "Carol" Colvin Meadows, age 72, of Barnetts Creek Road, Staffordsville, KY, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Highlands ARH, Prestonsburg, Kentucky.

Carol was born August 13, 1949 in Johnson County, Kentucky to the late Leokrie "Leo" and Ivalu Horne Colvin.

Carol is survived by her husband, Michael Leon Meadows, two sons, Michael Todd (Melissa) Meadows of Staffordsville, KY, Matthew Shawn (Robin) Meadows of Staffordsville, KY; one daughter, Monica Carol (Rick) Daniel of Staffordsville, KY; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tim and Kathy Meadows of Wittensville, KY,  five grandchildren, Kealy Richelle (Jacob) Coleman, Bailey Brooke (Brady) Taylor, Macy Carol Daniel (Tate Cantrell), Dylan Michael Meadows & Jordan Alexandra Meadows, one great grandchild, Brooks Allen Taylor, two nieces, Laura Cook (Charles) of Cookville, TN, and Leslie Judkins (James) of Colquit, GA., also survived by several great nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Tom's Creek Free Will Baptist Church with James Kelly Caudill, Chuck Slone and Jeremy Estep officiating.  Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, KY.  Friends may visit at Jones-Preston Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. and from 12:00 Noon until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Tom's Creek Free Will Baptist Church.
