She was a member of the Beachwall United Baptist Church, the Oil Springs Fire Department Women's Auxiliary, the Oil Springs Homemakers, and the Johnson County 4-H Council. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, making the best meals and rice krispy treats, crocheting, sewing, and quilting.
