The family of Charles Escom "Eck" Branham, of Nicholasville, sorrowfully informs of his passing on 02 December 2022 at the age of 88. He arrived on this earth in Paintsville, KY on 30 January 1934 to George and Vivian Branham. Eck studied engineering at Georgia Tech. He was a strong and clever man who carried a presence with him that was only shadowed by that of his late wife, Joan Branham.

Eck and Joan married on 7 July 1956 and had three children; Joe Davidson, Carol Ann, and Charles Escom II. He worked as an engineer with IBM from 1957 until his retirement in 1991. Additionally, he worked several years as an operations consultant with Lexmark until 1997. They spent most of their marriage in and around Lexington, KY, while also spending leisure time at their houseboat on Lake Cumberland. However, his time at IBM took his family to Boulder, CO for several years and took Eck overseas for work on many occasions.

Eck and Joan had a love for cats that surpassed that of most things. He also enjoyed spending time speaking to friends all over the world with his Ham Radio, call sign W4SEL.

Eck is survived by his three children and three grandchildren; Natalie, Kristin, and Jeoffrey. He has countless friends and family that will miss his antics dearly.
