Burial: Ratliff Family Cemetery, Pine Street, Paintsville, Kentucky

Charles Ratliff, age 80, of Tutor Key, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024 at his son's home.

Charles was born January 15, 1944 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Add Ratliff and Okie Mae Pack Ratliff. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Marianna Ratliff, eight brothers, Raymond, Tommy, James, Robert, Jimmy, Clyde, Steve, and Harvey Ratliff; and two sisters, Virginia Rizzo and Linda Hackworth.

He is survived by two sons, John Eugene (Kim) Gregory of Prestonsburg, Kentucky and Tomas (Anna) Glockner of Schereville, Indiana; two daughters, Stephanie (Donovan) McCarthy of Tipton, Michigan and Kristin (Joshua) Rain of Monroe Michigan; one brother, David Ratliff of Paintsville, Kentucky; one sister, Margaret (Gary) Blanton of Flat Gap, Kentucky; eleven grandchildren, Miranda, Jorden, Logan, Eva, Lukas, Sheridan, Nathan, Thore, Noah, Johanna, and Caiden; five great-grandchildren, Jake, Jaidda, Anderson, Brooks, and Carsen; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 19, 2024 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with James Michael Lafferty officiating. Burial will follow in the Ratliff Family Cemetery, Pine Street, Paintsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2024 and 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 19, 2024.

Full military honors will be conducted by Auxier Chapter 18 DAV.
