Charolet Anna Ramey, age 70, of St. Petersburg, Florida, formerly of Paintsville, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at the Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa, Florida.

Charolet was born October 9, 1951 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Elwood Ramey and Donnita Jones Ramey. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers, Deron Ramey, Emery Ramey, Elwood Ramey, Jr., and Don Elmond Ramey and one sister, Vongia Ramey.

She is survived by two sons, Mark Ellis Pennington of St. Petersburg, Florida and Ryan Hawkins of Brandon, Florida; two brothers, Van Ramey and Kevin Ramey; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Friday, October 14, 2022 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Rev. Amy Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at Sparks Cemetery, Sparks Branch, Flat Gap, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2022 and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 Noon Friday, October 14, 2022.
