Chester Franklin "Frankie" Williams, age 78, of Pigeon Creek Road, Oil Springs, Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 8, 2024 at his home.

Frankie was born March 27, 1945 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Chester Lewis Williams and Belvis Irene Blair Williams. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Sue Stambaugh Williams, one brother, Ronnie Dean Williams and one sister, Connie Jean Williams Powers.

He is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Williams and Sandy (Brad) Ward all of Oil Springs, Kentucky; one brother, Danny Lewis (Judy) Williams of Oil Springs, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Quade Bradley (Chelsey) Ward and Bailey Madison Ward; one great grandson, Brock Carson Ward; along with his caregiver, Cheryl Collinsworth.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Low Gap United Baptist Church with Frank Blevins, Jeff  Carroll and Daris Lewis officiating. Burial to follow in the Williams Family Cemetery, Pigeon Creek Road, Oil Springs, Kentucky.  Friends may visit Jones-Preston Funeral Home Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday, January 12, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Full military honors will be conducted by Auxier Chapter 18 DAV.
