Christine Helton Brown, age 98, of Paintsville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Paintsville ARH.

Christine was born May 30, 1926 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Denny Helton and Ona Adams Helton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Grey Brown and one son, Larry Gordon Brown.

She is survived by one son, John Mark (Karla) Brown of Paintsville, Kentucky; one daughter, Lynda Lee (Mike) Wiley of Paintsville, Kentucky; one daughter in law, Sue Brown of Paintsville, Kentucky; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2024 at First Baptist Church Paintsville with Seth Carter officiating. Friends may visit the First Baptist Church Paintsville from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky.
