Cindy Lou Sparks Butcher, age 64, of West Van Lear, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Pikeville Medical Center.

Cindy was born October 13, 1957 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late James Nelson Sparks and Ruth Spradlin Sparks. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her three sisters, Peggy Sparks Stafford, Kathy Sparks Terry and Elizabeth Sparks Dennison; one brother, James (Jim) Sparks.

She is survived by three sons, Don Allen Butcher, Owensboro, Kentucky, James Butcher, West Van Lear, Kentucky and Jonathan Ray Butcher, Offutt Kentucky; one brothers, John Sparks of Paintsville, Kentucky and  and six grandchildren.

Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2022
