Cledith "Sunny" Brown, age 88, of Staffordsville, Kentucky, passed Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Community Hospice Center, Ashland, Kentucky.

Cledith was born October 4, 1933, in Floyd County, Kentucky, son of the late Jason Brown and Nancy Meade Brown.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sons, William Donald Brown and Paul Richard Brown, three daughters, Linda Jane Moore, Julia Ann Brown, and Kimberly Ann Brady.

He is survived by four daughters, Shielda Sue Barfield of Texas, Carol Lemaster of Staffordsville, KY, Crystal Marie Acuff of North Carolina, and Tamra Louviere of Louisville, KY; three sisters, Aleene Brown of Prestonsburg, KY, Kathleen Shepherd, and Maxine Braniager both of Louisville, KY; twenty-four grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel.

Full military honors will be conducted Auxier Chapter 18 DAV.
