Corlis Ferguson, 79, of Prestonsburg, KY, left this Earth at 3:20 P.M. on May 13, 2026.

He was the son of the late William "Bill" and Susie Prater Ferguson.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Lemaster Ferguson, of 45 years, 5 months. Daughter, Shonie Lemaster (Burt Osborne). Sons, Marcus(Amanda) Ferguson, William "Fred" (Shelly) Ferguson, Baleigh, Colt, and Aleigha Sleasman, whom he was raising as his own.

Grandchildren: Cameron (Tori) Ferguson, Dakota Ferguson, Keira Ferguson, Ava Ferguson, Whitney (Jared) White, Sarah (Ethan) Pingree, Colston (Grace) Ferguson, Tela Ward (Dallas Guthrie), Cheranda (Brandon) Skaggs, Ambrea (Brian) Koth, Tessa (CJ) Phillips; sixteen great-grandchildren;

Sisters: Olena Blair, Clotena (Donnie) Bush, Nina (Orvel) Becklahimer, Vonna Brown.

Brothers: Gerald, Paul, Okie (Rhonda), Laden (Joann) Ferguson, sister-in-law, Tammy Sleasman.

A host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, whom he loved very much.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Terri Johnson Phillips, in-laws, James Russell and Barbara Thompson Lemaster. Sister-in- laws: Kimberly Sweeny, Mary and Patty Ferguson; Brother-in-laws: Benny Blair, Sam Brown, James Russell Lemaster; Nephew, Michael Blackburn; ex wife: Glenda (Mike) Skaggs Sparks and many extended family and friends.

At the request of the family, a celebration of life service will be held later this summer. There will be no visitation.
