Dallas Murray, age 77, of River, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Highlands ARH.

Dallas was born in Johnson County, KY on June 20 ^th , 1944 to the late Ollie Clay Murray and Janie Murray.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son Roger Murray and several brothers.

He is survived by one son, James Murray of River, Kentucky; two step-sons, Arnold Mulkey of Prestonsburg, Kentucky and Gary Mulkey of River, Kentucky; one daughter, Linda Lemaster of River, Kentucky, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 4, 2021 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel with B. Joe Hill officiating.  Burial will follow at the Family Cemetery, Lucy Castle Hollow, River, Kentucky.  Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 4, 2021 at Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
