Danny Keith Ward, age 70, of Flatwoods, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Kings Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Kentucky.

Danny was born January 14, 1951, in Meally, Kentucky, son of the late Harold Ward and Elsie Arrowood Ward.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one daughter, Dana Lynn Ward, and his elder brother, James Larry Ward.

He is survived by one son, Cody Daniel Ward, of Flatwoods, KY; one daughter, Traci Shiloh Ward and her fiancée Jared Farmer  of Stanton, KY; and one granddaughter, Hadley Arynn Ward. He is also survived by his former wife, the mother of his surviving Children and life long friend, Anita Waldridge. He was bless with a great many cousins he loved dearly, He had many wonderful friends whom he called family.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2021 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Wayne Short officiating.  Burial will follow at Ward Cemetery, Meally, Kentucky.  Friends may visit Jones-Preston Funeral Home Friday, January 22, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
