Darlene King, age 71, of Staffordsville, KY, passed away Friday morning, October 31, 2025, at Mountain Manor of Paintsville.

She was born on April 23, 1954, in Johnson County, KY, to the late Ernest and Norma May Tackett Hall. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wade Douglas King, two brothers: Jim Hall, Edsel Blevins; and one sister: Norma E. Lyons.

Darlene is survived by two sons, Joe Douglas (Tabitha) King of Staffordsville, KY, Davin Brant King of Staffordsville, KY; two brothers, Charles W. (Lola) Hall of Staffordsville, KY, David H. (Diana) Hall of Springfield, OH; one sister, Nella A. (Steve) Collins; and one granddaughter: Leah Rachelle King.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 A.M. Tuesday, November 4, 2025, in the chapel of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. and on Tuesday from 9 A.M. until the time of services at 11 A.M.
