Darvin Lee Mollette, age 76, of Meally, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Paintsville ARH.

Darvin was born May 21, 1946 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late James Raliegh Mollette and Ocilene Walters Mollette.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Corene Sisco Mollette whom he married on Octobe 25, 1969. To this union were born two sons, Gary Lee Mollette of Van Lear, Kentucky and Barry Lyn Mollette of Meally, Kentucky.

Also surviving are two brothers, Denvil Ray (Ethel) Mollette of Flat Gap, Kentucky and
James Doyle (Tammy) Mollette of New Carlisle, Ohio and five sisters, Phyllis (Ken) Brown of Owingsville, Kentucky, June (Lee) Pennington of Richmond, Kentucky, Arlene (Jim) Blair of Thelma, Kentucky, Angie (Ray) Reed and Lillie Irene (Henry) Butcher all of Maysville, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2023 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Denvil Mollette and Jamison Mollette officiating. Burial will in the Carolyn Spriggs Memorial Cemetery, Boons Camp, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2023 and 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

Full military honors will be conducted by Auxier Chapter 18 DAV.
