David Adams, age 73, of Sitka, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at his residence.

David was born May 26, 1953, in Paintsville, Kentucky, to the late James Cline Adams and Bonnie Jean Baldridge Adams.

He is survived by his son, J.D. (Desiree) Adams of Ladylake, Florida; his daughters, Cynthia Beteice (Albert) Tiffany of Bristol, Virginia, and Loren Nichole Adams of Sitka, Kentucky; his brother, Philip (Rissa) Adams of Fredericksburg, Virginia; his sisters, Janice (Hershell) Blevins of Staffordsville, Kentucky, and Ann Powers of Paintsville, Kentucky; and seven grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brothers, Ronnie Gene Adams, James Brian Adams, and Robert Carl Adams; and his sister, Sherry Lynn Peth.

Funeral services are scheduled for 12 P.M. on Friday, August 21, 2026, at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home with Clay Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. and on Friday from 10 A.M. until the time of the funeral services at 12 P.M.
