David "Coal Bucket" Lemaster, age 61, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Center, Hazard, Kentucky.

David was born April 13, 1958 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late James Albert Lemaster and Marie Nelson Lemaster Ross. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Billy Lemaster and one sister, Carol Miller.

He is survived by one son, David Michael Lemaster and wife Theresa of Pikeville, Kentucky; three daughters, Marsha Ratliff and husband Tim of Pikeville, Kentucky, Emily Lemaster of Richmond, Kentucky, and Elexis Lemaster of Paintsville, Kentucky; two brothers, James E. Lemaster and Roy V. Lemaster; one sister, Belinda Potter of Florida; three grandchildren, six step grandchildren, special friends, Teresa Lemaster & Linda Fairchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2020 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Estill Reed officiating.  Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Monday, March 9, 2020 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, March 11, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.
