David Kelsey, age 66, of Caudill Fork, passed away Friday, May 16, 2025 at his home.

David was born November 27, 1958 in Paintsville, Kentucky, son of the late Charles "Dago" Douglas Kelsey and Pauline Salder Kelsey. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Danny Lee Kelsey.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years whom he married on November 24, 1980, Nancy Leigh Burke Kelsey. To this union were born two children, son, Jarod David Kelsey of Oil Springs, Kentucky and daughter, Whitney Nicole Kelsey (Jonathan Endicott) of Oil Springs, Kentucky.

Also surviving are four grandchildren, Cameron Blaze Kelsey, Caydon Ryder Kelsey, Rylan Jase Kelsey, and Brynleigh Harper Endicott; two step grandchildren, Jonah Endicott and Abigale Goble; one sister, Diana Jo (Jay) Howard of Oil Springs, Kentucky; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2025 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with JR Salyers officiating. Burial will follow in the Caudill Family Cemetery, Caudill Fork, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Monday, May 19, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.
