Debbie Standifer Gussler, age 62, of Paintsville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 at her home.

Debbie was born November 26, 1957 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Mose and Lucy Watson Standifer. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Willard Scott Gussler II and Gayla Gussler who was like a sister.

She is survived by one son, Willard Scott Gussler III and Fiancé Marisa of Wittensville, Kentucky; one daughter, Jolena Smith of Van Lear, Kentucky; one adopted daughter, Laura Williams of Paintsville, Kentucky; three brothers, Moses Standifer, Jr. and Garry Standifer both of Paintsville, Kentucky and Robbie Standifer of Flat Gap, Kentucky; three sisters, Phyllis Goble of Hager Hill, Kentucky, Kathy Wallen of Columbus, Ohio and Carol Cameron of  Lovelin, CO; like a sister, Margaret Ann Gussler of Waverly, Ohio; and six grandchildren, David Allen Smith, Taylor Marie Smith, Samantha Paige Smith, Willard Scott Gussler IV, Adalyn Deborah Gussler, and Aiden Matthew Gussler.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 19, 2020 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Larry Blair officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 19, 2020.
