Deloris Ann Kesler, 93, passed away on May 2, 2026, at Mountain Manor Nursing Home in Paintsville, KY. She was born on October 30, 1932, to the late Thelma Green Jones.

In addition to her mother, Deloris was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Robert S. Kesler, and the father of her son, Doug McClure. She is survived by her loving son, Chuck McClure, his wife, Bridgette, her two granddaughters, Morgan and Miya, and a friend she thought of as a sister, Roberta Butcher.

Deloris worked in various settings throughout her life. She worked for South Central Bell, Johnson Central High School, and Chiropractic Health Center. She ended her working career selling AVON, a role she truly loved. She was proud to be "the AVON lady," and she enjoyed the many friendships and conversations that came with it.

Deloris was always beautifully dressed and carried herself with great poise and grace. She loved talking, visiting, and being around others. Socializing with her friends brought her great joy, and she had a gift for making people feel welcomed and loved.

Her faith was the foundation of her life. Deloris was saved on September 22, 1957, and was baptized at Mouth of Rush, now known as Tom's Creek Freewill Baptist Church. She loved the Lord deeply and shared her testimony with anyone who would listen. She was actively involved in her church as long as she was able to attend. She taught Sunday School and was a member of the Tom's Creek Freewill Baptist Women's Auxiliary. She loved her church and her church family dearly.

Deloris had a special love for children. Any child she met, she would lovingly teach to call her "Granny Dee Dee." She had a huge, loving heart for her family and was especially proud of Morgan and her accomplishments and loved watching Miya grow up. She was so proud to "officially" be made a grandmother. She even allowed Morgan, her own unique name for her, to be called "Nana". Chuck was her world, she loved him as much as any mother could... She was most proud to be called "MOM".

Deloris will be remembered for her beauty, her kindness, her faith, her love for people, and the joy she brought to everyone blessed to know her.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 1 P.M. Thursday, May 7, 2026 at the Tom's Creek Free Will Baptist Church with Chuck Slone, Brian DeWire, Bubby Davis, and Chad Blair officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Staffordsville. Friends may visit at the Tom's Creek Free Will Baptist Church on Thursday from 11 A.M. until the time of the funeral services at 1 P.M.
