Deloris Ann VanHoose Stambaugh, age 90, of Stambaugh, Kentucky, passed away Friday, July 22, 2022 at her home.

Deloris was born November 20, 1931 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Walter VanHoose and Ursula Witten VanHoose. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Stambaugh and two sons, Clyde Thomas Stambaugh and James Albert Stambaugh.

She is survived by two sons, Charles Donald (Zella) Stambaugh of Lexington, Kentucky and Joseph Sean Stambaugh of Stambaugh, Kentucky; two daughters, Dianna Lynch of Grayson, Kentucky and Shelby Coleman of Stambaugh, Kentucky; one daughter-in-law, Jenny Stambaugh of Murray, Kentucky; one sister-in-law, Eloise VanHoose of Nippa, Kentucky; seventeen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and a host of great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Monday, July 25, 2022 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Jim McKenzie and Stanley Burchett officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2022, 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2022 and 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 Noon Monday, July 25, 2022.
