Delphia Fitch Wells, age 90, of Meally, Kentucky, passed away Friday, August 28, 2020 at Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, Kentucky.

Delphia was born April 27, 1930 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Burt and Laura Pack Fitch. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years, Elmer Gordon Wells, one son, Dwayne Gordon Wells, one daughter, Shirley Wells Butcher, two brothers, Arville Fitch and  Narvile Fitch, one sister, Dimple Blair and one grandson, Roger Butcher. She is survived by one daughter, Cathy Joan Wells Witten and husband Donnie of Van Lear, KY, two brothers, Frank Fitch of Meally, KY and Billy Fitch of Hager Hill, KY. Three sisters, Debra Blair and husband Garry, Rita Adams and Irene Wells and husband Bill all of Meally, KY; eight grandchildren, Rebecca McCoart, Kim Butcher, Nick Butcher, Whitley Davinport, Michael Wells, Matthew Wells, Jonathon Wells and Haley Wells; six great grandchildren, Morgan McCoart, Zack McCoart, Kaylee Prater, Keisha Prater, Kennedy Butcher and Salem Davinport also one great, great grandchild, Eli Vires.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 31, 2020 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Garry Blair officiating. Burial will follow in the Wells Family Cemetery, Kite Hollow, Meally, KY. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home on Sunday, August 30, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. on Monday, August 31, 2020 until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
