Dimple Watkins, age 97, of West Van Lear, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Highlands ARH.

Dimple was born September 18, 1926 in Auxier, Kentucky, daughter of the late William Jefferson Perry and Martha Jane Perry. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Brother Watkins, one son, Mark Kevin Watkins, and siblings, Jessie Irene Perry Pack, Darlene Perry McKenzie, Lorraine Conley, William E. (Buddy) Perry, Roy Douglas Perry, Franklin D. Perry and Bonnie J. Perry Jurich.

She is survived by two sons, Gary (Suzanne) Watkins of Staffordsville, Kentucky and Jack (Tracy) Watkins of Kailua, Hawaii; two daughters, Susan Watkins Meade of West Van Lear, Kentucky and Marcie (Randy) Watkins-Ball of Wittensville, Kentucky; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2024 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Monday, April 15, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, April 16, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
