Don Allen Butcher, age 43, of Owensboro, Kentucky, formerly of Paintsvillle, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at his home.

Don Allen was born May 4, 1980 in Floyd County, Kentucky, son of Donald Ray Butcher of Wittensville, Kentucky and the late Cindy Lou Sparks Butcher.

In addition to his father, he is survived by three sons, Donovan Brock Butcher of Paintsville, Kentucky, Bryson Carter Butcher and Braylon Scott Butcher both of Central City, Kentucky; two brothers, James D. Butcher of West Van Lear, Kentucky and Jonathan Ray Butcher of Offutt, Kentucky; and his significant other, Michelle McKee of Owensboro, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2023 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Family and Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Friday, May 19, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.
