Donald Ray "Joker" Tackett, age 78, of Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Paintsville ARH.

Donald was born November 5, 1946 in Floyd County, Kentucky, son of the late Charlie Tackett and Maudie Tackett. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one grandson, Marcus Ray Tackett.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Bentley Tackett; four sons, Charles "Bo" Tackett, Joshua (Keisha) Tackett, Greg Tackett, and Jason (Crystal) Shepherd; three daughters, Melissa (Larry) Kidd, Kaylee Tackett, and Jessica (Special Friend, Tony) Bolen; thirteen grandchildren, Ryker Tackett, Greyson Tackett, Derek (Alisha) Kidd, Shay Hackworth, Michael Tackett, Chase Tackett, Tyra Tackett, Devon, Gracie, Braden, Chase, Madison, and McKenzie; seven great grandchildren, Baylee, Canaan, Johan, Jackson, Jensen, Maverick, and Maddix.
