Doralene Wheeler, age 84, of Paintsville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, August 30, 2021 at Paul B. Hall Medical Center.

Doralene was born January 19, 1937 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Mitchell and Edna Johnson Kimbler.

She is survived by one son, Rick Wheeler and wife, Melissa of Paintsville, Kentucky; one brother, Mitchell Kimbler, Jr of Staffordsville, Kentucky; three sisters, Betty Lois Robinson of Tutor Key, Kentucky, Brenda Caudill of Carey, Ohio and Patricia Stapleton of Flat Gap, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Tiffany Maynard, Ericca Blair, Brooklyn Wheeler and Brayden Wheeler; and five great grandchildren, Colton Blair, Ansleigh Blair, Jacob Blair, Nathan Maynard and Jordan Maynard.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 2, 2021 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Harold Williamson officiating. Burial will follow at the Marvin Sparks Cemetery, Blaine, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Wednesday, September 1, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.
