Dordena Sue Williams Derossett, age 85, of Paintsville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2024 at her home.

Dordena Sue Derossett was born on October 9, 1938 in Paintsville, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late O.I. Williams and Alta Daniels Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Derossett, sisters, Thelma Jewell Hamilton and Anna Ruth Sublett.

She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Meade and husband Gary of Paintsville, Kentucky and Ann Frary and husband Chris of Alcoa, Tennessee; two grandsons, Kyle Meade of Prestonsburg, Kentucky and Wes Frary of Louisville, Tennessee; and three great grandchildren, Kylie, Kameron and Karson Meade of Pikeville, Kentucky; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Gethsemane Gardens. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home on Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Monday, September 23, 2024  from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
