Dorothy Mae Preston Castle age 87, formerly of Johnson County, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 20223 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield Ohio.

Dorothy was born April 28, 1936 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of late Arthur Preston and Monie Castle Preston. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, William Cecil Castle; one daughter, Marcella Norton; two brothers, Kenneth Preston and Douglas Preston; one sister, Willa Faye Grayson.

She is survived by one son, Leon Castle and with wife Toni of Henderson, Nevada; one daughter, Gwendolyn Castle of Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandchildren, Michelle Maegly and Husband Randy, Nenna Abrams, Cassandra Mollette and Maelynn Norton; five great-grandchildren, Nathanial, Jack, Harrison, Brentley, Lexi.

Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Sunday, June 18, 2023 at Jones-Preston Chapel with Todd Scarberry officiating. Burial will follow at Arthur Preston Cemetery, River, KY. Friends may visit Jones-Preston Funeral Home on Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 18, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. in Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel.
