Dottie Sue Tackett Preston, age 60, of West Van Lear, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2020 at her home.

Dottie was born October 2, 1959 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Willis Tackett and Stella Sue McFaddin Daniels.

She is survived by her husband Joseph D. "Joe" Preston; one son. Luther (Amanda) Stamper II of Stambaugh, Kentucky; one daughter, Tina (Chris) Castle of Flat Gap, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Jordon Tyler Castle, Gabriel Scott Stamper, Layla Grace Stamper, and Kylie Michelle Castle; and three sisters, Stephanie Morehead of Ohio, Michelle (Jimmy) Brewer of Ulysses, Kentucky and Sue Ann Carroll of Ohio and a very special friend, Lisa Mollette.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Friday, June 5, 2020 in the Chestnut Grove Enterprise Baptist Church with Terry Conley officiating. Burial will be in the Bowling-Preston Cemetery, Bear Hollow, East Point, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Chestnut Grove Enterprise Baptist Church Thursday, June 4, 2020 from 12:00 Noon until 8:00 p.m. and Friday, June 5, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 Noon.
